For what it's worth this is my outlook.
My mindset is the more I do what I HATE to do, I more I do what I really hated to do as a company driver... the more money I'd earn here lol.
Sounds strange but it's true.
So things like my 70 and 11 I don't really ever have to worry about, like ever!
However my 14, that's a different ballgame there![]()

running smooth Thanks this. -
I am NEVER going to the Peelot in Richfield, Ohio ever again.
That place is a joke to be called a truck stop.
Finished my day early... ZERO parking spaces. yeah at like 2:30 pm
Didn't realized that at first, I got stuck in the fuel island with trucks everywhere blocking every direction and not moving.
So I left my truck and went to the restroom, wait scratch that male restrooms were closed.
Go figure outside toilets at the Peeing Flylot.
Anyways go back and I see what was going people.
Drivers literary camping out blocking the fuel island waiting for the next person to pull out of a parking space.
Someone eventually left and it was a mad rush with people blocking and cutting off each other, then saw a dude get out of a passenger seat in a truck and blocked off the space and guiding in what I guess was his co-driver.
Took me an hour to get out of there.
On a bright note I had a live load that turned out to be a drop and hook todayT_TRUCKER. Thanks this. -

On my way out there was Pride transport truck literally backing down the street along side the truck stop to turn back into the Peelot where everybody was exiting.. probably to try to make his own special space.
I had to wait for him to back down the street further just so I could make my left turn out of there.
I don't even want to imagine that place at night -
. And I have conducted a couple daily experiments with the 60 mph vs 65mph. HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE difference. And the loads still got picked up and delivered on time. And as someone said earlier, stay in the right lane and let everyone else get crazy in the left lane.
Ssand Man and drvrtech77 Thank this. -
