Probably just break even and have a mobile apartment...that's about it lol

 

I guess some people just have low opinions of the value they bring to the table. Only reason I can think of to be willing to run for so little.

 

Hopefully things turn around...if I feel comfortable once I get my year in, I really wanted to try Choice out. If it's going the way of the other .90-1.00 lease purchase programs, I'll stay a company driver. Too much risk vs reward for those kind of rates. Hope all you Choice drivers can weather the storm until things pick up

 

It's called planning ahead. Setting goals and reaching them. I have no personal debt, no wife, no kids at home. Everything is paid for. All I have is business expenses. My break even point is $0.85.

 

So you profit a nickel plus fsc?

Who are you running with and why are these companies only payin .90 cpm at this day and age and think its acceptable? I mean its just rediculous! No matter how I break the cpm leases down theres only maybe a couple pennies per mile profit everytime...That just isnt worth the time n effort to me or for a paid off truck w 500k on it and no warranty

 

My guess he is working for schnieder since this is a schnieder thread.

 

When you have drivers like him willing to do it the company will continue to be tickled pink and do it... That's why.

 

I have no truck payment and 845k mi and I'm doing fine.

 

The conversation started with Swift taking a Schneider account so I think he is with swift... Maybe I'm wrong?
