This industry is doomedVincent2254 Thanks this. -
All yours buddy! Have fun with all broken tandems and dangling tail lights!
Ran into another 9 crap series preloaded trailer today, of course tandems were screwed thanks to a messed up pin.
Took a video of the tandems pin issue and made sure to record the "9" lol. Think I'll start collecting more evidence from now on
-
Slap me silly, I gave them credit at .90.... thank you @freightw
-
Gotta do what you gotta do I guess. Sitting in Jersey City right now...I know what you mean! If anything east of I81 didn't exist as a driver, I'd be a happy camper lol
-
Hey I love the fact that all these arsehats are leasing out at .80-.90 cpm, they wont last out here. Eventually the bubble will burst, and all thr fleece operators will quit or go back to company. Freight rates will eventually rise simply because neither scenario is sustainable. You cant operate in the red long enough for those rates to become the standard.
-
and there will be more suckers lined up tomorrow. That's what these Megas thrive off of.
Drivers that work for nothing is a reason other carriers can in cheaper on contracts.
I mean when I really think about it.. Schneider is very cheap! Lots of old trailers, Cheap stripped shakers, so cheap they don't hire enough people to answer the phones. In a time there's less loads out there we should NOT be undercut by Swift to lose a good customer.
I mean come on! That's just sad
mxpx148 Thanks this. -
I do agree with you 100 percent. What im saying though is something has to break, because it cant last under the current conditions. When it does, the drivers that are left are the ones who will benefit. And Swift? That shipper will see, you get what you pay for. What they save in rates, they are going to lose in osnd. Lol
-
So what do you want Schneider to do???... bid less than Swift so the freight becomes even cheaper?
-
I'm not upset with Schneider in this situation.
I'm upset with drivers in general working for peanuts.
We really must have been undercut by a lot considering the tone of conversation I had with the shipper. I hope this isn't a trend that continues.
