    is there any freight that runs at night or are most drop times during the day?

    There's loads that are open window 24 hours a day. If you wanted to runs nights you could but daytime is better for a numbers a reasons.

    I run most all my loads at night. Less traffic and when I shut down, I can park anywhere I chose. I don't have a solar powered truck!!!

    I do multiple loads per day, not all customers are opened 24/7 so if I ran at night I would be restricting myself.
    Plus most all the new loads get added during business hours so if I were to sleep during the day I'd miss out on all that and be left with left over trash loads nobody else wanted.

    I enjoyed running at night as a company driver for the reasons home_on_wheels noted but it's a different game for me now.

    Ha yeah pretty much. Unless they decide that this isn't a toll they'll cover. In which case, they will always make us cross the toll bridges.
