I'm sorry, just couldn't resist. It's been one of those days and that just seemed to answer your question perfectly.

Maybe not home every night but pretty dang close I would say.

If you wanna be home daily this is not the place for you.
Look into LTL... OFDL, YRC and ABF are right in town.

Looking into old Dominion but from what I've read they sleep in hotels every night but I'll find out specifically what Carlisle offers in February, that's when the last said they will be hiring line haul again

    Not all positions are local.
I've met LTL guys that stay out a lot and they sleep in hotels. Better than a truck I'd say!

Look into applying anyway. See how long they keep apps on file.

    broke my record today.
started and completed 3 loads, two of which were live loads and parked overnight at shipper for next load in the morning.

Who wants to be home every day? Doesnt Schneider state you have to have OTR so you dont need to feel like you need to be home all the time? Wonder why some IC's fail? 1. Go Home to much. 2 Act stupid around an OC, 3 Want to be a sightseeing driver? 4 Book yourself way out there..be calm unless you know the lane ...new freight is added daily....5 Be a learner...follow the money....Hell I live in Denver mega going in bad coming out...I fly home alot unless I got a sure deal getting back out. Also smaller airports have way better rates as the government puts funds towards the flights and parking is cheap..

    Be Safe Out There
