It's like any other business. Some do very well, and some fail. Just like any other, it's up to you.

If you have at least an average IQ and good stamina, you'll at least survive the hard times. Check your personal obligations too. Are you heavy in debt and major bills? Hopefully not.

Nah the good thing for me is, I do not HAVE to be doing this. Our family income is such that I'm driving to build our log home in NC.

That's great. Sounds like you definitely have it together. If your willing to commit yourself to long hours and hard work you'll be ok. Things are slow right now, but it's a typical business cycle. When I owned my printing company, my best month was double my worst month. Just have to manage to ride the waves. A lot of people don't get that.

Excellent advice!!!! Yeah, I don't mind the slow. Just means you have to work smarter. Don't mind the hours. I simply want to know if I am a MISER controlling costs, be very smart with fueling and tracking fuel. Plan moves to high freight to truck lanes I can triple net, 75k or more.

    I can't believe I'm about to be here a year :biggrin_2556:

Which means I now have to schedule time off and be at an OC for the yearly Schneider driving test.
Cause you know I might have forgotten how to drive cause I only do it everyday

Why do you need time off for a test?

Or just book a drop and hook with an all day open pickup/drop.
