I never have a problem with trailer searches or etc... They tried to send me out of route to get an empty.. I said no I live around alot of places and then box planners changed it.. Easy. It's not very hard.. Communication if the key.. With respect that is and it'll go along way here.. I've been here awhile left and came back and I'm still nice to the people I was nice to before I left.. But for the record I'll do a trailer search if it makes sense to.. Why not do a trailer search en route to your pickup. It's not hurting nothing. But I'm not going out of route 100 miles when I know for a fact there are emptys by me at the time

 

Have you seen any changes since you been back?

 

Yea @rickybobby I mean I see the same customers where I live.. The rates are down a little from when I left but thats everywhere... In my small mind lol I look at the rates here being down and I feel like we can make it for that with the ability to dropn hook and book loads whenever we want so it kind of evens out. But I will say I can't wait to pay me truck off cause not having a payment in this program.. Geeeeeesh I couldn't imagine lol

 

Think the line haul @freightwipper .. But yea fuel is down alot so to me it's kind of evening out and if it's a lost its not dramatic as some make it out to be

 

My average is the same, but my miles are down. I tried too run down south. But the rates sucks, so I went back to my usual runs. Frieght is down, but I'm still doing ok. Without the distribution centers, choice would suck!

Yeah but with proper planning if they pay well those are gravy!
