And that's just it, comes down to the culture of the company. If you pay the people that work for you decently and don't just look for the cheapest way out, you get quality. If you start making people accountable for their actions and equipment then the number of instances like this are reduced. Of course this comes down the most important thing, If you treat people like human beings and not just numbers, then you have a happier culture.

It will put you in a waiting pool online, if the site is booked. Just don't close your computer. I was in it for 30 minutes, but you open new Windows or tabs while you're waiting. The tab your waiting in will flash when it puts you through. Good luck to you. My wife and I got nice Aetna plan for $148 a month.

Freightwipper; You've had 6 months with your new Kenworth, thoughts? costs? mpgs? dealer experience? Can you give us a quick review as I hear lots of negative (the nature of the web) about the new Paccar products that may or may not be true.

They do the same thing at Roehl. All inbound trailers are inspected, and PM's are done if their due. It really cuts down on issues. I just had one trailer that had an air issue yesterday, but before that I can't remember the last time I had any problems. It's been months. Their system works really well here.

Who knows, if Schneider implemented something like that there might be parking at the terminals, lol. I mean after the first 6 months of the shop being slammed with all the repairs.

Turns out @redoctober83 was right they DID extend the deadline till Jan 31. I got on a plan paying $235 a month with similar coverage. I think my copays are about $10 more but worth it.

I've had to the truck for a year now. I still love my truck!
Only real time it let me down was when the clutch failed but that was an Eaton warranty issue and not Paccar.

The build quality is good, nothing rattling apart like in my company freightshaker trucks. MPG is good.
Came from a 10 speed and this truck is a 13 speed, now I can never go back to a 10 speed.
13 is soo much better running on grades.
Only real negatives I have are with my dealer experience. Lots of BS, slow and they screwed up my truck once.
Kenworth in Knoxville was good though, they did a good job and were quick. Opened 24 hours a day too.
Went to multiple ones in PA and ALL sucked and sucked really bad.
