All I can say is stay away from the Houston/LA area. I'm been stuck in a black hole down here for days. Finally bouncing out to NC on Monday. What a nightmare.

I'm really giving Landstar a hard look. Would love to have my own trailer someday too. I've researched a lot as well,, Landstar seems as close as you can get to independent.

Probably just a dry spell, but I've been running junk just to keep moving for a few days now. Can't find anything coming out until next week and I need to get back to the midwest.

Yeah. I admit knowing that market has its advantages...if you ever get stuck down there again just message me. I'll get you out of there. Lol.

You can always load between Houston to Dallas for $2.00a mile then load out of Wilmer.. Or stay on in Houston and load back east...I never get stuck out there.. Now you're not gonna get a big load paying out so I hope you got good going in
