All I'm gonna say is you gotta know where to look and when to look. That comes with running the region. Argue all you want. I run down here.

I have run Texas also, as its a good way to get to Denver, its been a little bit of a learning curve as you can find your self in "dead" areas or hauling for 60 to 90 cents but as with most areas there is money down there...I will be there Monday for a week waiting for the right load home...

Absolutely dead areas out here. I avoid certain areas like the plague. One of these days I am going to pull the trigger on one of those loads headed West. I'm just deathly afraid of getting trapped out there for too long.

Glad to hear you broke out of Texas for more than .85!
When I was down there getting my truck I escaped for 1.39/mile..and was glad to have it!
Swing in to the TA at exit 109 in Elkton and I'll buy you a cup of coffee.

    FatDaddy Thanks this.

I have run from Denver over to Las Vegas for 1.15 to 1.30 then into California and dine very well and getting home from California is never an issue...but I agree there are some big dead zones out there that can put a hurting on the weeks revenue....

Nothing to argue about there, I agree.
No matter where you are you gotta know where and when to look.
