I think all ya'll are full of poop........That P&G he's talking about has steady freight to Houston DAILY, and a round trip back (for less money, but nevertheless). To the OP, I wish I lived in TX! Rates out suck monkey nuts, but interstate is pretty awesome. I could easily run 5 days a week and do no less that $3k. If you're willing to put up with the cities, you'll do very well and never have to leave the state. Just my 2 cents

    FatDaddy and freightwipper Thank this.

    Good advice.
Nice for home time if they are in one of those cities.
Lane looks like it pays around $1.30-$1.50 round trip.
I don't like running that low but then again I don't go home haha.

If you want to get out of the region you won't get out directly from Texas for good money, I'll give you that (well there may be a run or two) but you can take a short haul or two to get out of the state and then look for a better paying longer haul.

And yeah P&G gets me home every time. Except ironically today...they pushed out my load so I bobtailed home.

That's it! No more trucking for you until you see a head shrinker.

Amazon is always slow, even when I have 3 pallets on my trailer it still takes 2+ hours to get out of there.
Whatever that one in by Indianapolis is always takes 4 + hours, sometimes more.
