I've been following many threads here for a long long time. Joined up here maybe 6 years ago, but kept quiet almost forever. Happy to announce after 18 years class B, 2 years with Stevens for A and Mega crap entry, and the last 5 years at Tr***## , I'm DONE!!! (03/04/16) Retired!!! Now someone tell me how to add those emogie things to make this post stand out

All that big money you must have made at Stevens enabled the early retirement from trucking right?
Their .84 a mile lease is pretty appealing.

If it's all drop and hooks I'll take those $1.50 200 mile loads over that $1.25 400 mile load but that's just me.

I only pay tolls if I choose to run to OH-IN turnpike, tolls everywhere else I drive are paid for by the company.
Yeah I used Kansas toll roads recently but that might happen once a year.
I've gone months without using that OH-IN turnpike paying tolls or use it multiple times in a week sometimes. Just depends.
When I work 7 day weeks I average anywhere between 2100-2800 miles a week. I don't think I've broken 3000 miles in a week since I've been here but that's by choice as I'm usually doing 10+ loads a week.
That's just me, everybody runs different.
I really do kill lots of trees with the amount of trip sheets I go through lol

Nah I'll take the 400 mile load everyday. Less wear and tear on your body and truck

    and less income

Thats a .25 a mile difference which is no joke when dealing with low rates to begin with.
