You know "T" its so hard to know who to use for a simple PM. What I mean by this I have chosen to do a complete PM all filters etc every 20,000 miles. I know this is way more than what is suggested or required but I know/feel this kind of schedule gives me hopefully the shot at not having major issues...Speedco is owned by Bridgestone...idk but as much as its nice being home I did take alot of time off in Feb for a wedding and my mom having surgery so Im ready to roll. I guess another point I would state how many IC's could be down for 3 weeks and still be current on payments? Thanks for all your support!

There has been a few other drivers I've talked to that have had issues after getting a pm done as well. Though they used ta/petro. It started with an issue with the filters and turned into more issues with fuel lines and injectors. And that's drivers with kw's and pete's both here at schneider and other carriers. What they have said so far was paccar sent an update out to the shop programs that tell techs what parts to get and somewhere in the update it got the filter numbers messed up. So there have been places that have been installing the wrong fuel filters and causing problems after that. It doesn't seem wide spread but I've heard that story now 5 other drivers I know personally that have paccar engines and other drivers I've talked to at truck stops while getting work done.
Just something I wanted to pass along to you guys that have paccar engines. Plus seeing how the captain is having issues thought this might help. Couldn't remember if the captain had a paccar or Detroit engine.
Good luck on getting the engine up and running soon. Hopefully speedco will pay up a nice amount for all the down time.CaptainDaveG Thanks this. -

How do you guys eat on the road? Deer of the headlights, skillet, microwave, sandwiches, soup? If you do, how much of a food supply do you keep at once? And does anyone have a portable freezer for meats.
