    We can do the speed limit what ever it is. I for one won't go over 75 since that's what my tires are rated at. As far as my truck, it's set at 120.

    Well fellow IC'S my truck is finally fixed over 17 days down...picking her back up Monday going to run a short load on Tuesday and Wednesday I'm rolling...love the old lady etc...but

    Was going to say the same thing Captain Dave.......make sure you get at least $500 a day in lost revenue.......they'll pay it, but you gotta ask.

    Using the law of averages very seldom equates to actual cost of operations....The actual speed of a truck is the time divided by the distance. When you stop for any reason, the average speed goes down, hence keep the door closed makes you more money.....I don't care if your truck is wide open....If you drive safe and follow the signage up in the Northeast you may find your average speed is about 58 Mph( on a 70 mph interstate) ...factor in traffic delays and weather and a 500 mile trip can take 10 hours driving....then you have a result of 50 MPH.
