Drivers aren't finding gold pots and the end of the rainbow like they were a year ago.

The way I've been looking at things is this...I'm doing pretty well over, the I could do better but freight being down and the uncertain economy is putting a dent in it so to speak, I still couldn't do as well in these times driving a company truck with most of these co's...if I can get through 2016 relatively unscathed economically I think 2017 Will be better if the right thing happens in November...all in all im enjoying simply because I have the flexibility to make what I want and need and to take whatever time off to spend with my son...

I can careless what SNI is getting. I only care about what I'm getting. When it gets to low for me to operate. It's time to bounce. Lol

This is what happens when freight is slow. Go back 2 yrs or so and everyone is happy.

I don't know. But i can tell you're very green still despite you being here a year or so... If you don't think sni plays with the loads you're crazy... I've been here longer than you. So have other guys.. We see it... We have experienced it... We have already established that they don't individually play with the loads but don't be naive and think they don't know what u make, and where you like to run....get a grip smh... I've met countless drivers here white and black who've been here over a decade and they all say that when they get into a routine it dries up. But it doesn't just dry up they give it to company drivers.. But I'll let u be the spokesmen for the know it alls... I'm out

Yeah, lots of LOL of that statement. So much so that I don't even know where to start.
    I think I'm done here.

I agree whole heartedly. I do know SLI takes whatever they want off the top, sometimes its a lot. I've seen loads post at a huge rate then a minute later they catch their mistake and repost and its not even worth hauling.

But there's still good freight and $ to be made if you know what you're doing.

I said they play with loads, i know that.
I know some areas on weekends where they won't post loads until the last minute.. probably if they can't get a company driver to cover it.
I've seen my old loads go on company truck also.
To say there's basically a conspiracy against the ICs and they make up rates to whatever they want is a different story.
A couple weeks ago i hauled an 80 mile load that paid over $870. Being Schneider plays with loads and makes up rates why didnt they post it for cheaper and keep more for themselves?
Load that i do all the time and the rate stays the same... why doesn't Schneider change that and keep more themselves?
Those reasons and more is why I'm not buying it, just dont see the evidence.

I asked another driver eariler if they ever called in on rates that seemed messed up and got no answer.
Have you ever called in @duddie ?

Schneider does make mistakes on rates sometimes and have changed it when i called in.
If i could blast Schneider on this topic i would but they have been stand up when i brought up mistakes they've made.
The day my good freight suddenly becomes .20 a mile and Schneider confirms that's the rate when i call in thats the day I'll agree with you guys and blast Schneider on it.
