I've been shocked at the quality of the trailers here so far...the worst Schneider trailers are better than the average trailer where I came from. I have seen a lot of bad tires on our stuff though. I had a blowout this week but to be fair there was 45,632lbs of beer back there lol. It's always the ok looking tire that goes, I'll never understand that.

lol yeah that black hole sucks me in a lot.
Midwest has still be good to me. Not as high as rates as in the Northeast but midwest has a lot more loads and less dead areas.
Sometimes i still hit good winners, got few $3+ mile $500+ loads into Chicago recently.

The pumpkin trailer pool is exponentially better than it was just a few years ago. I was a company hand from 2007 until the start of 2012, and I haven't had nearly the number of battles with trailers that I had my first couple of years here. I did have a bad streak last year, though. A dozen trailers in the span of a month needing repairs of various types. I let my ICR have it, along with the head of van truckload. I doubt it did any good, but I felt better.

I was wondering how that works, someone has to be over van quality. I bet they have different guys for each region, that would be the guy we all need to be calling every time :D. I say we but i won't be a pumpkin puller till late May

Big company that's for sure. The company I'm at now only has 250 trucks.

Dude... I saw an A trailer today at the DC i was at, you think the 9's are bad lol, also, not all 9's are crappy, I've had 2 this week and both were in great shape. The ones that give me problems more is the ones drivers get and race on a figure 8 track before droppin it off with "no defects" I've actually had fantastic luck with trailers, in the year I've been here the only issue I've had is hide and go seek with emptys lol.
