Something drastic needs to be done in that city, maybe call up the guard like they did in new Orleans

 

Of course the new police chief is blaming guns. If it wasn't guns, it would be knives, ball bats, rocks, gang fights, ect. When crazy people want to kill someone, they will in whatever way they can. Same results, different means.

How about blaming the people doing the killing.

 

Never seen a stray bat, knife, rocks kill an innocent kid. But it could happen.

 

Also he's not blaming guns - he's blaming illegal guns. IE guns bought legally in MI, IN, WI, IA, and downstate IL that miraculously end up in gang bangers hands in Chicago. City or Chicago and Cook county don't have jurisdiction to prosecute these illegal sales and DAs elsewhere don't feel the urgency - especially as it may get them an anti-gun reputation when they want to run for dog catcher somewhere down the line.

So, you are saying the guns jump up like magic and shoot people, not lawless nuts that would kill no matter what they had to use? They just happen to use guns that are usually stolen or imported across the borders like illegal drugs.
