    Northeast still looks sucky, think I'm going to go back to my short loads in the midwest.
    Borrrring but better than cheap freight lol

    It's not about rates.
    For me this "slow down in freight" hasnt been so much about rates.
    Theres less loads in general, that's the challenge.
    The higher the rates the crappier the market the load usually goes to. Northeast has a LOT of dead areas and it's more difficult now to navigate being the slow down.
    Midwest might not be the highest rates but overall it works better for because it's all about averages. Not a lot of freight in the Northeast now, meaning more deadhead aka lowering the total rate running for.

    The $2.20 loads to NY are still there but what good it is when theres nothing there lol

    I feel ya. Even on mileage I know areas I need to steer clear of. Heck even this week in the midwest I went home early because freight fizzled out yesterday. I could find anything decent to run, so just grabbed a run to KC for Monday and took it home. Was only out 3 1/2 days this week. Weird stuff.
