I was not nit picking. I used that one to back up what you said about flats paying much better. It was a great example cause those short loads is pretty much my bread and butter. Probably 75 percent of all the loads i pull are under 100 miles. I was certainly not trying to trash what and how you do. From the posts of yours I've read, not just this thread but others we have both been in, You seem as happy where you are as i am where i am. In my opinion that means we both won the game of Truckin.

 

You are the exact person I quoted how the flatbed board works and duddie said I was an idiot. So you made $4 dollars on this load, with your own trailer. The IC with Schneider can make the same with no trailer rental, not a bad deal. So duddie constantly comes on this thread and bashes schneider, brags about mercer, but won't go! What gives duddie??? Im not following what you are saying to me. Something about trailer rental? I don't rent a trailer. The trailer is your money maker. They require practically no money in maintenence or repairs. Brakes and tires every few years and that's it. And with a servicable life of at least 15 years.

But umm..when was 600+ dollars the same as 200? Ya, I'm obviously not following what you were trying to say.

 

Why do you care that he complains? If his complaints bother you so much just or him on ignore. But whatever you do, i ask that you stop trying to pull me in to your personal fight with him by quoting me to complain about him. You are a grown man, fight your own battles and leave me out of them.

 

You own your trailer correct? The IC's are using Schneider's trailers, and renting a truck from Schneider. I'm simply saying the $$ as an IC is comparable to buying tractor/trailer and leasing with mercer.

As for the other part, I read how you explained in a thread how the board works going out west, your number will change according to other drivers who empty out. He tried to tell me I was an idiot and that's not how it worked and I shouldn't believe everything on the internet, of course unless it was posted by him.
