I've seen a lot of ICs running out west, seen a few ICs running us93 from Idaho down towards Vegas. Hmm wonder what rates they're pulling in on that lane lol

If you live out in that area, you could probably work it out pretty well. the TSC loads going to Idaho are around 1.80/mile. Getting over to Nevada, not sure if the rates are still there, but you could go back down to Phoenix in the 1.50 range.

Loads are being brought from Cali into the Vegas drop yard, going up into Utah and Idaho for around $1.90, or over to Denver for 2.00+

It's kind of like the east coast, you basically gotta get there and stay there. It's leaving there where you take a loss unless you can plan it out really well.

Best of all, these lanes are really peaceful to run, and parking is never a problem.

I got offered a load from Chicago to LA to drop a tank at long beach and BT with the chassis hone. I turned it down because I didn't want to deal with the port and our per mileage rate isn't all that great. I make more running 300 miles of Chicago.

My terminal is in the city, but I park in Rockdale/joliet. I pay monthly for a spot to park truck and tank. It's gated with cameras and no one messes with the truck.

I live in Plainfield, so it would suck to drive into/out of the city every time I need to go to work. I pay $150 for truck and trailer. I know there's cheaper places in the area, but I don't know that I trust some off the people who park there.

Are you in the joliet area?

I don't see with how much money Schneider has how can they not have tracking devices on every trailer?
