Because co's raise it so many cents for every .05 fuel goes up

 

....and there's a lag time between any fuel price changes and an adjustment in the FSC...works well when prices are falling. Not so much when they're increasing.

 

What time lag? EIA is published Monday at COB and the FSC is adjusted on Tuesday.

 

FSC is only tweaked every two weeks.

 

Sorry, mines adjusted weekly to within a tenth of a cent, for every penny change in the fuel price.

That's just our fuel discount not FSC. We get 100% of whatever SNI charges the customer. That can be different for every customer or contract, based on the DOE. It's supposed to change $.01 for every $.05 change in fuel prices up or down adjusted every Tuesday morning.
