I've delivered to Florida probably a dozen or more times in the last year.
I took 1 load out of Jax and one load out of Palatka all the others I took loads out of Georgia.
I even took a load to North Miami but I deadheaded to Jax and took a load to TN.
If SNI tells me I have to do something that I don't choose to willingly do then they become my employer.
I don't care where I am in the country it's not my responsibility to take a load just because I'm in the area regardless of whether cs books it.Home_on_wheels, Drifter42, 91B20H8 and 2 others Thank this. -
MAN!

Loads suck around Holiday times!

After all deductions and such, those are still decent rates for work. Thanks for the info guys.

Depends on what you call decent.
I earn more and work less than when I was a company driver so that in itself works for me.HeWhoMustNotBeNamed and retire_in_mexico Thank this. -
I want that

the $5000 that you mentioned that several drivers over here at Schneider choice gross on occasion, that is the amount that the driver is gross into their truck... The amount that we see on the load board are the amount that we get, those amounts are after Schneider takes their 35 percent cutfreightwipper and retire_in_mexico Thank this.
-
yup that is correct
Gross isn't what's important.. how much is left over that is
grossing $5k on 4000 miles isn't that greatdrvrtech77 and retire_in_mexico Thank this. -
I also mean that the rates before you get them are good as well.
