    How do you know the shipper is paying the claimed $2 a mile?
    In a limited freight environment brokers are fighting for loads just like the drivers.

    It's an example. You should know better than me that brokers take huge cuts of the rates all the time, leaving the drivers with nothing.

    As I've said before, I hate brokers and even the idea of freight middle men.
    However at the end of the day freight get moved for what drivers are willing to pull it for.
    If it be through a broker, carrier or shipper.
