Not sure I'd be trusting enough to leave that in a drop lot though. Are there cameras?

I had it my moms house for a while, last time i left it at the mudlot because i was easier to fly out. It's secured and has cameras. I showed up there with my suitcases and had to give my name and driver number to get in, same when i drove out.
Dunno if I was go back there again, freaking fire ant farm!

I think it is just funny that the truck owners in this industry can't accept the fact that they are responsible for their own success or failure.

Each person has their own business and needs to run it the way they see fit.

The only problem is that this industry is filled with people who aren't proud enough to demand what they feel like they are worth.

The truck to load ratio will always be a factor, but if all those with trucks had a sensible floor in terms of acceptable rates, we would never get those insane crappy rates in any region.

Kudos to the shippers and brokers for running their business with the highest profits possible. They are simply doing what truckers should be doing.

Government has its nose in agriculture to the point of stupidity. In order to regulate prices, good crops get turned under the soil. That is food wasted that could feed the hungry at extremely low cost. We don't need any more of that sort of ignorance in our industry.

We have government involvement in keeping bad drivers out of trucks, and poorly maintained equipment off the roads. If anything, we need increases enforcement of these rules. That alone would get many cheap freight haulers out of the way and help to increase rates.
