I've quickly learned why booking something that pays decent to Eastern PA is a bad idea. Taking Sunday off just to get something respectable back to the Midwest.. Lots to learn..

Once you get to PA trying to get back to the midwest not for cheap is always a challenge.
Might as well run regional while you're there.

I dropped a load today at Lowes in Mount Vernon Texas and I'm reading what they got posted on the wall... Has a list of carriers that are no longer drop carriers and in that list it has PAM Transport and they're no longer allowed to drop or live unload there... seems like Pam got banned from Lowe's LOL

To be frank I would NOT want to deliver to some of these places. If you exclude Brown and Fedex there's only about 9 carriers that I am guessing handle 80% of the freight OTR style. Just think how ## d some of these companies would be if the 9 said no more...you suck how many times have you been to some of these big shippers no bathrooms a (porta potty doesn't count) no respect? They the receivers hate there jobs, make you stand outside at guard shack, in rain in 100 heat etc. something has to change and not just the rate. Example I WONT do any AMAZON load I don't care what it pays. When I book one by accident or not knowing I call in off it comes why because everything about the place is a dumpster fire.. Usually too tight, never on time, race to the next Amazon as its booked so tight. God forbid if there is bad weather when you arrive they shut down the lot until the weather is 10 miles away the FAA has a lower standard. I could go on for a week, but I think you all get the point.

    Be Safe Out There

    Some do...
Hey left lane close in 2 miles, lets go into the left lane pass everybody and then cut people off at the last second before mowing down orange cones!
