Not sure how it was with Schneider, but I was tanker yankin back then and was super busy in 2009. 2008, on the other hand, was downright scary.

 

Solo drivers only, and no fleets is what it has been since I have been here.

 

There is no interest rate, because it is a lease. They do have a leasing fee though, and I don't remember what it was.

 

If systems down they can't add loads until it's back up.

 

I haven't looked into it lately, but back when I came in, they strictly specified that they didn't allow fleet owners in the choice program, only individual owner operators.

edit: yes, I see that they to advertise allowing fleets now, that was something they were strictly against when I came here. That would be part of what makes it tougher on any individuals because a fleet can be dispatching 100% of the time.

Not allowing fleets is one of the factors that made this program more appealing to me than Landstar.

 

Since they did away with the Legacy Fleet which was the mileage pay operation they've allowed Fleet owners on choice.

 

System is back up apparently.. I'm getting load confirmations now...
