I've pulled loads from Seattle to NYC for $1.80/mile. I've done PA to socal for $1.70/mile. There's PA to Texas that's usually around $1.60. Texas to Seattle fir $2.10. Texas to NY fir $1.85. Most of these loads were 25k or less as well. So saved a lot of fuel because I could average 10mpg or better.

Anybody know what a good somewhat realistic rate is to escape out west?
I don't know when to jump on something vs wait for something better out here.

    Just found out..

Program for ICs to train a spouse/friend and team. CANCELED.
Fleet owner... add more trucks/hire drivers. CANCELED. (Solo side)
Those have been shut down since late last year (when freight tanked)
Was told they really don't need anymore drivers and recruiting is handcuffed.

...makes one wonder if he could leave the program before his lease is up and incur less of a penalty...

I heard advertising for bring your own truck to choice or get a sfi truck all weekend long on Sirius.

You'd think they'd suspend the radio advertisements and save that money
