I'm not saying you are but if you do a search and find a great load that's days away and nowhere near where you're at or gonna be but still book it then find freight to that load and have support shift or 1st shift book it that's a short cut same as a driver using laptop while driving.

I book my freight in order NOT cherry pick loads or check laptop while driving.

I remember what you're talking about.
It was a while back when I made a noobie mistake when I was still figuring things out.
There was an amazing load like two days out I booked thinking I could book loads after getting me to it, well it doesn't work that way. During that time I was getting real pissed because whenever I saw a great load whenever I'd simply THINK about it... bam in seconds somebody else booked it. That happened over and over again.
Eventually I learned and accepted amazing loads go super fast and that's just that.
When I wrote about it I remember getting blasted by people calling me a load cherry picker lol
That's not the same driving and using a laptop because that's dangerous.

    Dominick253 and TennMan Thank this.

There's many drivers I've spoken with that have their wife at home logged in booking freight for them.
Also met a driver who PAYS someone to book them the best freight.
There's no rule that says only you can book your freight.
Even in Schneider's AD it shows an IC saying his wife books him freight.
