Come get some! Plenty for all! On a side note, really irks me they can't be accurate on the empty/loaded miles on the board. I knew not to trust the mt miles, but now today's load I realize the loaded miles are off by 50? Really? Hard to trip plan when you have to verify all the miles first. Really my only complaint to this point.

No difference if you had your own authority. Never trust anybody else's numbers. If I'm in a hurry, I would add 30 mi.

I always build in 2 or 3 hrs into my trips for whatever, but my main complaint is figuring the per mile revenue to determine the worth of the run. I'm having to verify all miles first now, which of course takes valuable time when you're comparing a handful of loads.

It says "estimated" loaded rate per mile, it's solely a tool.
Even if you go on google maps and plug in city to city for more accurate miles it still wont be accurate.
Exanple, there could be a load from Indianapolis to Columbus on the board but once you book the load you see it picks up on the west side of Indy and delivers to the east side of Columbus thus adding miles.

If you spend time comparing loads, getting more accuate miles ... well if it was a good load you will be beat out to the it by the time you do all that lol.

I look at it like this, if a load pays good but the actual rate per mile is 10% less it's still good.
If a load pays .70 a mile it's going to suck no matter what lol.

So why put inaccurate info on the board?

    Dude it's Schneider.
It takes them a month just to fix a sort button.

As far as the posted miles go it's just a tool for an estimate. Even says "estimated".

If you pick up in the same city it shows empty miles as zero if picking up at the same customer or going on the other side of the city.
The technology just isnt there to be perfect.
