Sunday night is the absolute worst time to book freight.
    It's all left over crap.

One of the first things I learned here is if I don't have my Sat, Sun & Mon booked by Friday late afternoon I doom myself to left over cheap freight.
Yeah some loads are added on weekends but not a lot.

    Moneyleg Thanks this.

Sunday night is bad for booking loads...noted. Is Friday early enough or should someone book on Thursday for Monday loads?

    Everybody plans and books differently.
You can book two weeks out ahead of time if you wanted to.

What works best for me usually is booking 1-2 days out expect for Sat, Sun and Monday.. I always aim to have those three days knocked out at once. That's just me though.
Sometimes I booked a week + out but every time I did something screwed up those plans.

btw I'm burnt out talking about trucks..
Everybody should do what they feel is right for them and makes them happy.
There is no right or wrong answer in that as everybody's wants, needs, goals and operation is different.

I had a lazy week this week which I earn by killing myself last week. Clearing over $4000 after expenses in a week certainly makes that possible.

There is nothing to straighten out. Richmond, Va sucks. If you wanted to be home more, choice is not the answer. If you live around an OC you could get home more.

Like i said Richmond, VA sucks....King williams is heavy beer. Pittsburgh sucks, and who in there right mind would go to NH. In a 75mi radius there is 22 loads from Richmond and only 1 going to NC.

The King William load to Pittsburgh is a load of cat litter lol. I found out once because they wanted my drop in a door. I've done that load like 4-5 times.

As far as NH for the right price.. who knows.

I always thought I'd never go to CT until I grabbed a $5 per mile load from PA going there.
Of course I hated my life during the process though lol.
