Because they know who too pick on. Also, they want you too pick up an empty, that's been sitting at a customer for months.

because there is a driver shortage, a shortage of drivers who are willing to put up their crap. they have to keep hiring to prepare for the next 100 drivers that will leave. then they will try an convince the drivers coming an going that they must be the problem because it couldnt possibly be the company. lol

When I went thru orientation - they said they "supposedly " can see when a load is booked while driving and will lock us off the load board if we do it.

That still doesn't address the fact that Schneider encourages drivers to violate their own cell phone policy by sending text messages while they are driving.

I'm new here so I don't know about a lot of the things that are done behind the scenes, but nothing really surprises me lol

GR. Thanks for such a in depth response to my question. We are on such opposite ends of the spectrum no more debate needed. At least I know exactly where you stand and that I appreciate. I read your reply no less than 5 times and thought about it for countless hours while driving. Can not express how strongly I disagree. but whatever. At least you made me think. Thanks.

I have always thought they encourage it with all the mobile apps. Maybe not encourage it but you get what I mean. Kind of like a don't ask don't tell policy. Can't tell you how many guys I have seen with a laptop mount on the dash. Even had one show me one time. But I'm not a rat so what do you do . It's more than oversaturation of drivers. This is playing a huge role. In full disclosure, I have a couch wife. Just being honest. I understand a level playing field, but why take away my gun with criminals around. I do feel for the guys without the luxury I have. Hard times. I still think the really good ic,s know how to make it work on their own through experience without cheating the system.
