Yeah. Agreed. I am referring to same day 24 hour p/u time loads so it seems you know what you are dealing with. 1.35 going to Carolina doesn't seem bad from that area as long as it's not big island your referring to.

 

I'm good with 1.40-1.60 at this point I'll be glad when I switch over to flat bed.. I'm tired of working hard lol

 

I would agree with in shambles. Just take a look at what the job participation rate is. Just saying.

 

The economy isn't in shambles. There are people making some real good money out here and working half as hard as us. These rates will have u thinking the economy is messed up but it's a mind ####

 

Yes your right. But look outside of the transportation industry. It's why I specialize in tampons and potato chips. It's government money baby. And yes it's light as well. sad but true. We're in shambles. When you can make a living hauling items that can't be bought off a government card let me know.

 

Oh how I wish I could come close to that. The last few weeks I've been around 1.15-1.20. I was grossing $7k, now I'm having a hard time grossing $6k. I will have $5200 this week.

Ive been thinking of switching over. I think I would make the same or more on the solo board with half the expense.

 

You won't gross 6k or 7k on the solo board unless it's over 2 weeks.

 

I know this, but I also won't have twice the fuel/maintenance costs, 6k miles/week driving and get quality sleep in a non moving truck!

If you guys can easily get $3500 gross, that's equivalent to my $7k, no?
