This is a bit before my time, can you elaborate? Was it just difficult to start from scratch and get new trainers?

Are they adding capacity or replacing capacity? Turnover rate is 100%. Trucks sitting not generating revenue are useless.

I researched LS very hard when I was deciding between them and here. I'm glad I came here. I don't like their business model at all.

I know that guy and have talked to him a few times. He pulls a step deck. Those aren't even van rates.

Hey duddie, just curious about something. You left SNI & went to Mercer pulling a van. Then left there & came back to SNI & commented on the Mercer thread that you're happier than ever since you came back. Why are you looking to leave again?

When company drivers are saying they're getting 2k miles a week on average and are told it's because of lack of freight but yet SNI is still bringing on more drivers my thought ( this is where it gets dangerous ) would be to thin the herd and raise average miles per driver and make drivers happier so the turnover is less.

By the way 100% turnover is a farce. SNI has plenty of drivers who have been here longer than a year. Now turnover is high but it's because of the way SNI keeps treating it's employees and quasi Employees (contractors).

As long as we drivers continue to buy into the lies that the industry tells us to believe they'll always treat us as the sheep we appear to be.

My bad, was thinking of a different guy over there. I've talked to so many guys over there I'm getting them confused.

I see what you're saying, but each truck is a separate revenue generator. If you decide to park a thousand of them, that's a thousand trucks generating nothing. Even if each truck generates pennies on the dollar profits, it's still better than zero. You wouldn't park a thousand of your trucks if you could keep them in the black either. Remember, Schneider is a business too. If fact they've got quite a bit more experience than any of us do yet we think we're qualified to call the shots for them. They know what they're doing. I remember there were a group of people in here that had them bankrupt a few months ago.
