Jacksonville could barely be called Florida. Put in Palm Beach and see what comes up.
I don't understand why you keep trashing me.
There's thousands of Schneider ICs posted here.. you would happen to be the first one ever that has gotten approved for the Solo side.
Endless drivers from Florida have been denied.
Two of which I spoke to personally.
In orientation Schneider told us they don't hire out of Florida because freight is sooo bad and suggested we don't go down there unless we get a lot of money going in.
Not only that but another IC just said they don't hire out of Florida.
We just aren't pulling this out of our arse, Schneider told us this and other drivers as well.
Maybe have a little more respect for the current drivers here if you hope to learn a thing or two.. that is unless you think we're just making everything up.
You being hired out of Florida would be a first and comes to a surprise to us because we never heard someone being hired fron Florida before, only denied due to location.
Picking my own freight baby! My journey to & of being on Schneider choice, the Adventure & Numbers!

And yes, 1.40 is more than any of those cpm box carriers or there, but let's be honest here. We all know not a single one of those guys pulling for 90cpm plus fsc is actually making a penny more than a decent company driver. -

Everybody business is different. I been doing choice for 5 years. No matter how I run or where I run. I average 1.50 all miles. Now some people will call this chump change or they say they want get out of bed for that kind of money. In this business its all about keeping your overhead down. I have read on TTR guys averaging 2.00 miles, going out of business in a year. A buck fifty is working for me....

Just because rates were a certain way a year ago, last week, or yesterday, doesn't mean that it won't change today.
Just like the Schneider hiring policy that just changed.
Can you grasp that concept?Last edited: Aug 21, 2016
