If there is a broker involved you will get your 300 bucks no questions asked. SNI will not hesitate to bust it to a broker.

I've had it with Quaker in Lancaster Texas where I showed up to pick up a load to Tyler Texas 6 hours later the customer still hadn't put me in a door didn't even know anything about the download I told him that was not going to be no on-time delivery so I was canceling... Drove to the Dallas OC park for the night, I see you are the next morning which was on a Sunday told him what was going on and made a phone call then asked me if I could go back over there and get it loaded... Which I did I got my full $300 even though I didn't even stay at the customer plus the $295 the load paid for 100 miles

So a new cummins engine in a 200,000 mile truck that cost me maybe $45,000 total?

    Doesn't sound bad on paper

On paper your right. You could be right all the way around. I would probably add another 10000 to it to cover the problems that will arise because they will. When all is said and done you still have a pro star with well...a cummins. But really your right. Not trying to be a nay sayer. Just sounds like a pretty big task with alot of potential for pitfalls. but then again every truck is.

Bear with me on this. It just reminds me of when I put a 350 in a Jeep cj7. I had 4 grand figured. Well after a adapter here and motor mounts there I did it. Nearly 10 thousand dollars and almost a divorce i had it on the road. The thing ran like clear ####. Lmao. Never could get the clutch linkage right. Motor wouldn't cool right. It was just a mess. What your talking about is not the same. I know. Just brought back old memories. Lol.
    Carry on.

I was thinking the same things. I also had projects that went way over budget lol. Just the fact of making the switch from a maxforce to a Cummins may give you bugs in the system. If I were to ever buy something that wasn't built OEM, it would be from a professional like Fitzgerald.

I would give the boys over at Pittsburgh Power a call about this if you're serious.
