Knowing Schneider they will find a way to get a truck to bare bones.
That $7000 has got to make a significant difference or else nobody would put up the money for them.
Details you have to find out from them though, that wasnt offered when I joined.

3 year lease on pretty much any new SFI truck payments are around $40,000 a year eh?

 

Kenworths have had issues but i havent met one with emissions problems here.
There been multiple Freightliner ICs I talked to that had emissions problems.
Loooong ago I think Sadwars first Freightliner here had a big emissions problem as well.

No matter what it's a crap shoot

 

I raised hell my truck didn't have streering wheel controls, even went to Kenworth in Green bay to beach about it and find out how much it would cost to put in. I mean I have a switch for red l.e.d nightlights in the sleeper, a switch in the sleeper to lock the doors but no freaking streering wheel controls, how dumb is that.
Right after that SFI ordered the Premium KWs with streering wheel controls since on lol.

Theres a lot I'm sure would be missing in the stripped KW, another thing off the top of my head is the windows in the sleeper with the emergency escape hatch.
Probably wouldnt have that 5th wheel psi gauge either which saves money on scales, the air dump, bluetooth radio, power locks, 10 speed instead of 13 etc etc the list can go on.
