So you know the drama...I feel for you sir since I'm in it as well. I NEVER try to short change her for the care of my child, but between her and the county, it's ridiculous!
Who do you use for your payroll service? I was originally going to look into ATBS as a "one stop" for everything, but haven't seen much positive about them, so I may try to find a CPA locally.

I use paychex...they'll do all the paperwork when you sign up...same payroll paperwork as if you were goingto work some where...you can set it up as weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly...I've got myself on bi weekly pay...straight salary and they report your income to the state and irs..

I got quotes from them and Sure Payroll...they would be about the same bi-weekly, but Sure Payroll would do weekly for the same price...just trying to find feedback from people that actually have used the services though. Everything looks good in print until the first problem lol

Don't sweat the small things man. By the time your done deducting truck payments, fuel, per diem, and everything else under the sun your county will be asking you if you need help. Not saying its right. Kind of funny though.

You get ATBS free from SFI for 6 months. ATBS is what you make it...if you don't talk to your CPA you can't plan. I am very pro active with my CPA. They do payroll also. I have called for advice on a few items and great feed back. But again you have to make an effort. It's $18.17 per week.

SFI no longer pays the first 6 months, although they still encourage you to sign up in orientation, as in they put the form in front of you.

I can say from experience...what ever he brings home on settlements they will use that amount to calculate child support..unfortunately...that's why it's important to separate business and personal $$$...
