What does eating better have to do with a guy leaning on the fuel desk? If anything eating better is healthier and less fattening than canned food. Not to mention the drastically lower sodium and cholesterol.

I thought (sarcastically ) that SNI forced all the mileage guys and gals onto the choice board in order to create the needed seperation of employee or contractor status. I was told it was done because paying a driver a set mileage pay too closely resembled paying a company driver a set mileage rate. ( of course I argued it was done to be more profitable too SNI both on here and to the powers that be but I was guaranteed SNI wasn't doing it for that reason.) So if indeed a mileage based IC too closely resembles a company employee does that mean the mileage drivers on the bulk side are in fact just company drivers? Did or does SNI provide the bulk mileage guys with benefits etc.... I mean after all it was SNI who said they had to do away with the Legacy program to create the needed seperation of classification....
Just food for thought! -
I would say that being paid a set mileage rate in and of itself does not make one a company driver but for a company to guarantee a set rate to a contractor definitely cuts into said companies profit margin when you also have a choice program or the like.
I mean those 65 cent mile loads were having to be run by somebody and if a mileage guy was assigned to it then SNI in theory would be losing money....in theory.redoctober83 Thanks this. -
