Picking up shippers.

    How do you go about picking up shippers? Like if you introduce you self to a new customer, how do you separate your self from them thinking your going to basically work for them 5 days a week and other jobs you might have lined up.
    We have 2 trucks and some of the shippers won't even talk to us and would rather have a broker that has no trucks, and some shippers think that were going to work for them 5 days a week.

    I would think part of your conversation with them would be you asking what their current needs are and how you can help them with those needs. That would be where you talk about your capacity as well.
