Not before your time at all! That truck is still in use- pics were last year. After spring thaw I'll be hauling rock again with it.
Pics of those old style Kenworths and Peterbilts, please!

1947 that I have been trying to restore for the last 10 years it’s probably going to end up being a retirement project

I think that truck has set too long, too much dust on it. That thing needs to be running down the highway.TooTiredToTalk and Oxbow Thank this.

A few of my family members. ‘62 351 with the ‘34 Ford style Stewart Warner dash, original NH 250 . ‘67 351 Unilite aluminum cab, NTC 350. ‘69 359 with rare all steel cab and hood. BC 1 shiny 290.
AModelCat, wore out, TooTiredToTalk and 7 others Thank this. -
Beautiful. But I must say the rectangular headlights just look wrong on the narrow nose.wore out, TooTiredToTalk, Slowpoke KW and 4 others Thank this.

Agree. I had nuthin’ to do with that debacle. They came off an old ‘86 357 mixer truck that became an organ donor after it rolled 30 years ago. The originals were toast. The rectangular were wrong on the 84-87’s 359’s too imo.
Finding a pair of the original Guide “Fluted back” Pete style aluminum housings is getting harder. The “double bubble” FL style they reproduce isn’t right for the early yearswore out, TooTiredToTalk, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this. -
