Pilot employee hit driver with broom

My guess is the same since I've seen too many occasions where a driver is asked to leave because of his hostile conduct w/the staff/clerks. As someone pointed out about the layout of this area, Krammer Junction, CA (Boron, CA according to QC navigation), it is a mess even though it's out in the middle of nowhere - do a 'Streetview' and it's easy to see why. Take note of the cramped & poorly designed TS, then add someone flawed in character (that shouldn't be permitted to have a CDL) and you have a recipe for an impending conflict. Myself, if my schedule permits it, I try to fuel there between 11pm-5am

 

Wow JPilots are really screwing up lately with the bad incidents, bad fuel, rebate scam, assault by employees, swift boycotting fuel stops there etc. the list keeps on growing each week.

 

Great news! I often stop at a Pilot, glad now one of your drivers will not be shutting down in the middle of the truck stop lanes that we all have to use to get around in!

 

I can't believe how many drivers are condoning this assault...maybe the driver was mouthy or something but no justification for attacking him...I tell you who really needs an adjustment...the moron drivers continuously drive the like their in the Indy 500 through the parking lot...those are the ones who are the problem..

 

Anyone notice the story mentions the driver had "lacerations to his hands"?

I don't know about you guys, but the last time I had a decent laceration on my hand I had punched someone in the face...

That's complete speculation, just the first thing that popped in my mind when I read the story.

The driver probably was in fear for his life because he thought the clerk was trying to clean him up !!!
I am sure most of them would die if you took off the top layer of dirt !!!

Sounds like the driver got what he deserved to me .
It seems like it takes something like this to get a drivers attention anymore .

 

how many times have ya ever heard of this?? probably never

but how many times have you seen or heard a driver get mouthy when told to move off the fuel island or out of a no parking zone?? all the time

perhaps this guy had had his fill of these mouthy guys, and watch next time the parking lot racer is most time racing up to park at fuel island, at the scales, by the fuel island , in front of the fuel island while he goes inside and does his business.

and they are probably the same guys who throw there trash down in the parking lot.

 

Wasn't there and do not know.....r some drivers ######bags about pkg etc....oh Yes...but this is way over the top....and without witnessing it I can't say.....but kid was 1/2 the drivers age......and if the driver was a big ol boy the kid didn't think he could handle....then he shouldn't done anything....BUT if he was playin youngin bad ###.....he deserves whatever he gets.......Either way NO CALL for this type of behavior by either party.....but I guess that's the world today.......
And imho.....the kids mighty #### lucky he didn't really get hurt.....remember old age & treachery beats youth&inexperience anyday......
