PFJ is advertising for local fuel hauling in my area. There are no details but I'm lead to believe it's home daily, working nights. Anyone have idea how much it pays or the employer in general? I'm waiting for them to call me back. I have HazMat and TWIC and already pull a HM tanker.

    Thanks

Employer might be Gemini; they're the ones that hire for Love's fuel haulers.
    Is it this P/FJ job?

Pilot has their own fleet, you would work directly for them. Trucks are based at their stores. Out and back all day or night long supporting the store you are based out of and maybe 2 or 2 more. Slip seat, home daily, contracted maintenance on the rigs. Overall pretty simple, slightly below average pay for fuel hauling.

Pilot pays by the hr abt 14 or 16 an hr. Some say it's low pay. But they make up for it in bonuses. And if you get onto a Def run you will love it. A lot of flying J drivers hated the buy out and ended up leaving. But everything is all balanced out now.

It's for Pilot. I haven't seen the name Gemini yet, although I am familiar with the name.

No. I left Averitt. They are a good company and treated me well. I never did OTR for them. OTR at Avrt seems hit and miss. Some terminals don't have enough work and others too much work.

I just found info for my area quoting almost $18.50/hr plus OT after 40. $2 less while training. Training should be less than a month, maybe just 2 weeks, depending on how well you learn.

I understand when I was regional with them it was always hit and miss but overall they are a good company. Good luck @tscottme with whoever you go to keep us posted.
