Hey-I'm not sure where that is.There's a lot less trucks out now because of the holiday. That in itself should help.I hope you get parked.Take care.Brian
zmpart Thanks this. -
Yes. Pretty good sized pilot and its pretty clean and quiet as well.
zmpart Thanks this. -
If the Pilot is full, head back to the last signal. That Chevron station also has truck parking. Most don't know it and you should be able to find a spot.
zmpart Thanks this. -
We know about it now.
NavigatorWife and teqntexas Thank this. -
Just try getting there when you need to.
This month I'm told that I need a sim class by the 26th, and to get back to Otay Mesa to get my IFTA and NY stickers.
So I turn down loads telling them that I need loads to these places.
What happens? I'm ignored.
'Just take the load and we'll work out getting you there...'
So I get on safety hold for the sim class, and only then do I get a load to a terminal with a simulator.
Here now in Phoenix. I deliver in the morning and then wait until the next day for the class - which will be the 31st.
And I need to be in Otay Mesa before the 1st for the IFTA?
Not gonna happen, I think.
And I don't think I am going to try passing the CA check stations without it, since the fine will be on me.
So I'll probably sit another day so I can pick up the IFTA at Phoenix, since 'extra' stickers are not available before the 1st. -
Thanks for the replies guys...and for the hint on the chevron.
Not sure what that last one is about but pretty sure there is a tolerance window of a couple weeks into January for new IFTA stickers if this is what you mean. i could be wrong but i know i've run it over before. Also just get them fedex'd to you anywhere if it is an issue specific to California having zero tolerance.
Luckily i picked up my 2013's on friday.
Thanks and good night -
