I love Pilot. I know it's not a popular sentiment, but I go to a Pilot and its a Pilot. No guessing game nothing fancy. It's a Pilot. But lately I've been looking at the Challenge magazine. I dip to the location guide, see what's offered at certain Pilots. One says it has a 5 Guys. Another says it has a Milestone Cafe. I learn that no, they don't. The one with 5 Guys, it's right near the property. Not part of the Pilot. The other one, that restaurant is across the street. At another truckstop. I'm not kidding. Pilot advertises like its at Pilot. Did you know that the Pilot in Des Moines has a Chipolte? Really! Except its in Eagan Minnesota across from an Exxon station. See what I mean?

Well, so long as their not promoting themselves with restaurants that are actually 2 blocks down, it could be worse. I will always walk across the street or 2 doors down to eat at a regular dining establishment at the end of the day if there's anything besides a Subway, Arbys, Burger King, or some chicken place. haven't looked in the Challenge lately but do they advertise these as "on premise" or "nearby"?

the words PILOT and RESTAURANT should never be put in the same sentence

    nor PILOT and TRUCKSTOP

    nor PILOT and PARKING

    Exactly!

Pilot is the Swift/CRE of the fuel industry. Cheap and offer nothing.

PEElot sucks. And so does the Flippin' J since they took it over.

Want an example? The Bosselman's location in Big Springs NE used to be a really good place to stop at. It's a Flippin' J now, and one of the filthiest, most vile holes in their entire chain. Thanks PEElot.

Now to totally hose the Cleveland Browns, we bring you the PEElot Browns.

"Cheap and offer nothing"??? I'm sorry, I don't understand the comment. You should be grateful someone is investing billions to try and see to it ungrateful drivers such as yourself have a safe place to park, eat, shower, and crap. They could make all the money they ever dreamed of simply building fuel stops with NO parking and letting you deal with the parking issues on your own.
