Everyone I know that had a PP box has since went to PDI or Bullydog (I don't think Bullydog makes anything for the N14). They all like them better than the PP boxes.

I don't think there's anything out there that will give you 1.5 to 2 mpg increase, unless your engine is shot and only getting 3 to 4 mpg and needs rebuild.

a buddy of mine had the PP box and it got decent power on a 3406 E, but the pyro temp climbed faster than an F16 with the afterburners at full blast, this was empty.

Now he sold the PP Box to another guy with same motor and I'm kicking his butt with my 3406 E and Mr Haney program while my pyro hardly moves, also my truck gets better fuel mileage then those two my truck is a T800H , the other two are W900 and T600, The t600 has 411 rears while the others are 370, mine has 12 22.5 R them are 11 24.5 all pretty close, the W900 has C18 injectors and C16 turbo and is faster than mine at higher speeds, taking off mine is quicker smoother almost no smoke but at around 80 mph the W9 will kill me.

any ways I got out of subject, my advise if you get the PP box glue your eyes to the pyro and run it no more than number 3 setting, you will have some moderate HP and maybe better mpg.

I'm not trying to bad mouth any companies, but I had 2003 n14 525 that I put a pp box on and had exhaust and coolant temp problems with. I only ran on 2-3 just trying to improve throttle response, I seen no fuel mpg increase but no loss either. It was better to drive over stock but had temp issues. Maybe if I went with different turbo but didn't want low end lag. I wouldn't buy another. Just my opinion. Hope it helps

I ran a PP box for 5 years on my 550 hp 3406E. I gross 135,000lbs so the truck works and never had any real issues. I've had it disonnected for 2 months now and the truck is lazy without it. It will be connected again. My temp went down maybe 15-20 degrees and my pyrometer is 100 degrees cooler or so. I kept it below 1000 without problems. I ran mine on level 2 and 3 and didn't lose much if any fuel mileage. I do have my wastegate half turned off and would run 35-40 lbs of boost on a regular basis. Without the box it runs 34 tops. I really miss it on rolling hills and the throttle response was so much nicer than now.
