does anyone have the Pittsburgh power quiet preformance mufflers on their 379 Pete? I'm In need of new mufflers and would like to go quieter. After so many years of noise, this old fart with Tinnitus would like it a little quieter and wouldn't mind the additional horsepower it claims to give.

Pp sells a quiet muffler as well as a loud one. Both offer free flow performance. Op probably got the loud one by mistake. My quiet performance ones from pp are pretty quiet .

I prefer to order from Pittsburgh Power and pay the little extra. It's a small company that supports enhancing engines. While you can get them cheaper, I prefer to just spend a little extra and know I'm supporting a small business.
