I'm hauling tequila from Texas to California right now. Not sure if this is a dumb question but it just hit me, does DOT require to put up placards when hauling drinking alcohol? I guess technically its flammable?

    Over 24% requires 3065 placards.

Which route are you taking? Just kidding.

Yes, this is the only thing you need to make sure you have. Check each state along your route for their requirements and make sure you have any necessary liquor permits.

Placarding an alcohol load should be listed under Catagory 10: Steal Me.

By the way, never tell anyone what you are hauling. Anyone asks you then just say, "A bunch of stuff".

I think DOT requires a breathalyzer connected to your ignition.
