plan on moving to another state in 2 months should I get my CDL in my current state?

    There are some states such as I think Illinois that will not allow you to transfer your license. Most states do. It would be best to check with whatever State you are moving to and find out if your CDL is transferrable. Also, it would be best to wait until you are ready to go ahead and get a job before you get your CDL as many companies require a refresher course if it has been longer than 3 months before you begin driving after school. I think it would be best for the OP to wait until after you move to get your CDL unless you already have a job lined up and ready to go as soon as you move in 2 months.
