just seems like a lot but I could just be dumb in my calculating
was his truck paid off?
If a mentor is pulling close to 5k then I should really reconsider being a mentor myself![]()

Yeah he had a paid off 2010 truck. Was gonna order another but with that money comes soo much risk. He told he had drivers falling asleep at the wheel in day time. Money's good but I'm too young for that stress haha you'll easily clear 2k a week

A L/O mentor truck should easily gross around 7-8k running 6,000 miles so a 4-5k check would be fairly reasonable to believe. If I had a student instead of a co-driver I would make around 3-4k a week and I run on average 5100 miles but I have a lot of stop pay so they kinda even out the lesser miles. And I put away a good amount of money for maintenance account and taxes.
Dedicated accounts certainly take a lot of the inconsistency and risk out of the equation. Wolfy, if you need help deciding as far as the numbers go I can provide you a profit loss spreadsheet with real numbers As well as a profit loss projection sheet so you can play the "what if" game and tweak the numbers to personalize them. -
I might be interested in that, I plan to remain solo though if I do decide to get my own truck.

Just pm me with your email and I could send it to you along with an explanation of how the spreadsheet works. It's not rocket science but without clear instructions it may be confusing to someone who didn't create it.
