I take everything with a grain of salt.

If someone presents a scenario I love to play. But is it real world? I don't know enough to answer that. The reason being is most Trucking Company owners would usually keep really juicy problems a secret.

Ive worked pretty closely with trucking company bosses and they know what's up most of the time. But not always. But none of them would touch the internet except maybe to find that truck right now from the qualcomm.

Exactly right. You learned something and education is expensive.

Good luck, choose better when hiring drivers. The reason I no longer have them and am now the sole employee. ;-)

In the past, husband trained and had 2 leave the truck after getting to a town close to where they lived at. Had one that he had to take back to the terminal and did not recommend the guy continue driving, he was that unsafe. So no matter how hard a company tries, there is always a chance to get a rotten apple.

Can the charges you are losing on this truck abandonment not be taken off as a bad loss on your taxes. Doubt if you will see any money in the future from this guy. Why did this person decide to abandon the truck?
